CMET have proudly supported the Lions Club’s Recycle for Sight initiative for three years by donating any unclaimed glasses from our lost property. After being held for three months, any uncollected glasses are donated to the Lions Club, where they are cleaned and reconditioned.
These glasses, which might otherwise go to waste, are repurposed to improve the vision and quality of life for people both locally and in communities around the world. Since 2009, the Canberra Kambah Lions Club have delivered more than 110,000 pairs of glasses. This tremendous effort is only made possible with support from donations.
