Light Rail Service Changes: Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July 2026

There will be no light rail services from the first service on Saturday 4 July until the last service on Sunday 5 July 2026 while critical works are carried out as part of the Light Rail Stage 2A project.

Rail replacement buses will operate in both directions between Alinga Street and Gungahlin Place, stopping at all light rail replacement bus stops. Replacement buses will run at normal light rail frequencies or better.

Regular bus services will continue to operate as normal. However, changes to pedestrian access in the city may affect your journey, so please allow extra travel time.

Customers do not need to tap on or tap off when travelling on rail replacement buses. If you are connecting with a regular bus service, normal MyWay+ tap on and tap off requirements still apply.
