Earlier this month Minister for Transport Chris Steel MLA launched the newest installment of near miss footage, captured by CCTV cameras on the light rail vehicles (LRV).
The video starts out with a school-aged child racing to cross the tracks before a departing LRV crosses an intersection. Sadly, this risky behaviour is seen all too often by CMET Light Rail Drivers.
Other footage shows motorists stopping or performing illegal turns on light rail tracks.
