CMET Supports the Salvation Army’s Breakfast Club at Local Schools

CMET is proud to support The Salvation Army’s Breakfast Club program at local schools close to the alignment. Helping students start their day with a smile, and a hot breakfast.

Each week, the Breakfast Club provides free breakfast to students, ensuring no one starts the school day on an empty stomach. But it’s about more than just food, it’s a welcoming space where students can connect, chat, and feel supported.

As part of our commitment to the community, CMET team members roll up their sleeves to serve toast, warm drinks, and fruit, while also chatting with students about light rail safety and answering any questions about public transport.

The Breakfast Club is a chance to make a positive difference beyond the light rail tracks. By combining a nutritious start to the day with friendly conversations, we’re helping young people prepare for the journey ahead, both to school and in life.
