Last week, CMET welcomed the Weston Creek Men’s Shed for a behind-the-scenes tour of the inner workings of our depot.
The tour included a visit to our maintenance hall, where our technicians explained the various maintenance procedures and safety checks that ensure our light rail vehicles (LRVs) are always in top condition. The group also explored the Operations Control Centre with controllers sharing insights into the technology that keeps our network running safely and on time.
Based on the excitement of the group the likely highlight of the tour was the opportunity to see and hear about the technical aspects of both the LRVs and Unimog vehicle.
