Tracksafe launches Rail R U OK Day campaign at CMET depot

On Friday 13 March The Tracksafe Foundation, in partnership with R U OK? officially launched Rail R U OK Day 2020 at the CMET Depot in Canberra. The event officially kicks off the #RailRUOKDay journey, with employees from Major Projects Canberra Canberra Metro Operations (CMET), Transport Canberra and City Services, R U OK Day and the Tracksafe Foundation coming together at the Mitchell Light Rail depot to champion a stronger and more supportive industry.

This is the first year CMET has hosted Rail R U OK Day, and the interactive question mark Quentin, which is aimed at starting conversations. Those incloced have taken this opportunity to highlight the importance of encouraging conversations and coming together as an industry to support the messages from #RailRUOKDay, held on Thursday 30 April 2020.

Working with National organisation R U OK Day, Tracksafe’s annual industry-wide event inspires rail employees to look out for one another during life’s ups and downs by asking “Are you OK?” and really listening to the answer. By adding to the national R U OK Day conversation (Thursday 10 September 2020), Tracksafe and participating organisations put a year-round focus on suicide prevention.

Make sure to follow Quentin and Quinn’s journey via #RailRUOKDay
