In 2023, CMET celebrated significant milestones and achievements. We saw another year of exceptional service provision, community engagement and an increase in ridership, with over 4.1 million trips taken throughout the year.
Punctuality remained high with an average on-time performance rate of over 99%, ensuring commuters reached their destinations promptly. As part of our commitment to sustainability, 68.83 tC02e (tons of carbon equivalent) were saved contributing to a cleaner and greener environment for all Canberrans. Looking ahead, CMET remains dedicated to enhancing public transportation accessibility, reliability, and sustainability for the Canberra community.
